What to Expect
Most "helper" opportunities are scheduled on a weekly or monthly rotation. There is no lesson preparation. Helpers are encouraged to interact with the children, make them feel welcome, encourage them to participate in class activities and help maintain an orderly and positive learning environment.
The "teacher and leader" opportunities are scheduled on a monthly rotation or as an ongoing weekly commitment. Lesson material is provided and preparation will be needed. These positions would include volunteering in Children's Church, Sunday School, VBS, and Awana.
All of these opportunities require a love for children and a desire to see them grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ. Church membership is required and the fulfillment of our Child Abuse Prevention Policies must be met annually.
Positions
- Children's Church teachers and helpers - Sundays during the 10 am Worship Service
- Sunday School teachers and helpers - Sundays from 11:15 am - 12:15 pm
- Awana leaders and helpers - Sundays from 5:30 pm - 7 pm, September - April
- Summer VBS teachers and helpers
